Graduated from Pskov State University in 2004 and received a doctoral degree in philology from St Petersburg State University of Economics in 2013. In her doctoral dissertation she investigated Russian cultural terms in English travel guides to Russia. In 2013, she began working as a freelance lexicographer pursuing several lexicographic projects with K Dictionaries (Tel Aviv). Since then together with Prof. Viktor Kabakchi she has been Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Dictionary of Russia, 2nd edition – an on-going revision and digitization project.

Her research interests include electronic and corpus-based lexicography, language resources, and historical lexicology and lexicography. With extensive experience of international linguistic conferences, workshops and lexicography-related events, she has a significant track record of publications in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Her previous volunteer experiences includes working as a translator in the area of international child protection and doing a revision of Russian terms in the IATE term base for the Terminology Coordination Unit at the European Parliament. Since September 2016 she has been a member of the Executive Board of EURALEX (European Association for Lexicography).
